Hello Miguel. I did your task and here is my opinion: I think this activity is really good for students to practice their speaking skills. Personally, I practiced how to pronounce "rhetorical skills", and I found out I was not saying it correctly, so it helped me correct my pronunciation and now I am more aware of this word. I enjoyed the digital resources you provided because they were easy to use. I especially liked YouGlish and I will definitely be using it in the future. Finally, I think your task really matches the target group you proposed.
Good evening, Valeria. I'm very glad you had a great experience doing the task, overall because you now know a new phrase and its pronunciation perfectly. Personally, I recently discovered YouGlish and also fell in love with it, and as you can see I even used it in your assignment. I hope your learning process keep growing and have an excellent rest. See you tomorrow.
HIIIIII, I found your activity very interesting and useful because it focuses on speaking as a multimodal process, not just on producing words correctly. I want to emphasize that I really liked starting with real speakers in YouGlish because it helped me notice details about rhythm, pausing, and gestures that we usually don’t pay attention to in normal listening tasks.
Using Phonetizer to check the pronunciation was also very helpful, especially for stress and linking.
I want to say that the instructions were very clear, the steps were well sequenced, and the objective was easy to understand!! I think this is a great activity for students who want to feel more confident while speaking in enflish.
